Students, faculty, distinguished guests: welcome to the Hidden Schools.

This is a space dedicated to the Craft Sequence, a series of novels and games by Max Gladstone. If you've found your way here, you probably already know a little about the Craft Sequence, but if not check out this introduction.

The Hidden Schools was launched in 2021 after our founder, Lady K, searched for essays, meta, analysis, and general fanworks for the Craft Sequence and found almost nothing. She embarked on a lockdown project of rereads, extensive note-taking, and eventually beginning to write articles and build this website.

The purpose of this website is twofold:

1. Evangelising about the Craft Sequence and getting more people to read the series and play the games

2. Creating a space for fans to go deeper into the series, discuss characters, plots, themes, worlds and more, and generally flail over how much we love it

Today, 26 August 2021, the website goes live. It's currently fairly small but with big plans and bigger dreams. The Hidden Schools is run by one person, Lady K; currently everything here is created by her, and she pays for the domain etc from her own pocket. We have no affiliation with Max Gladstone, or any person or entity with rights over the Craft Sequence - we simply love the series to a somewhat ridiculous degree.
